Deliverability is a crucial element of any successful email marketing campaign, and success should be evaluated based on inbox-level performance of every email. Knotice partners with industry leaders and rigidly follows standardized best practices to build a delivery assurance system that works behind the scenes to attain consistently high delivery rates for all clients.
The following deliverability assurance services are integrated free of charge into every full-service, collaborative or self-service installed email marketing account. Don't think of it as added-value service; think of it as the service you should expect from any email service provider.
ISP RELATIONS
Knotice believes transparency and accountability are critical in maintaining effective relationships with ISPs. Across our client base, Knotice sends to over 7,500 unique domains which are tracked and monitored regularly. Since 2004, our deliverability rates range from ninety-five to ninety-eight percent across all major ISPs. Knotice proactively implements authentication and accreditation technologies that can assist in delivery efforts and builds relationships with Delivery Assurance Partners, such as Return Path, that can compliment Knotice's internal domain expertise.
Message delivery is actively monitored around the clock and we work with ISPs to remove blocks regardless of when they occur. We have feedback loops in place with the major domains, and are actively looking to add additional feedback loops as they are made available to us.
Knotice works with ISPs to have its clients placed on white lists and enhanced white lists, when made available by certain ISPs, such as AOL.
DELIVERY AND INBOX MONITORING BY DOMAIN
Through integrated inbox monitoring, Knotice is able to track deliverability of client campaigns at the major North American and International ISPs down to the folder level. We are able to know right away when clients are being blocked or filtered by ISPs. For each campaign that is sent, inbox monitoring reports will provide a delivery status report, confirming that the campaign was delivered, when, and what folder it was placed in (i.e.: inbox or bulk) by each ISP.
PRIVATE IP ACCREDITATION AND AUTHENTICATION
Every client is assigned a private IP address by Knotice for email delivery. Knotice highly recommends that clients create a hostname (e.g.: news.companyname.com) tied to this IP address so email campaigns are not flagged as phishing scams.
In addition to private IP assignment, all Knotice IP addresses used for delivery are also accredited through Sender Score Certified. Sender Score Certified is the leading third-party email certification program. Clients whose volumes exceed 500k/month are accredited directly by Sender Score Certified (or another third party certification program) and are responsible for direct costs.
Lastly, every Knotice IP address is also compliant with the latest in email authentication technologies, specifically SenderID / SPF and Domain Keys Identified Mail (DKIM).
LIST MANAGEMENT AND HYGIENE
List management and hygiene can be a key component to successful deliverability and Knotice does offer additional services to help train individuals at certain customer touch points to more effectively request and capture customer email addresses. Knotice can assist in evaluating current online opt-in strategies and their effectiveness in building your opt-in universe.
