Knotice Ltd., an Akron company that provides software and services to help companies market to digital consumers, reported a record first quarter for 2008.
The five-year-old private company did not release revenue figures, but said its quarterly growth increased 113 percent from the same period last year.
''We're fortunate to have a great group of smart, hard-working people dedicated to the idea that our continued success is contingent upon the success of our customers,'' Chief Executive Officer Brian Deagan said.
Knotice is headquartered in the Akron Global Business Accelerator and is a ''portfolio company'' of the regional venture development group JumpStart.
Deagan predicted that 2008 would remain strong for the company and its main product, the Concentri Platform, which manages marketing acrosse-mail, mobile and Web channels.
''Marketers are seeking solutions to a variety of business challenges in today's rapidly changing economy,'' Deagan said. ''I believe Knotice is well-positioned to help any company become more profitable in a less-certain financial climate.''
