Protecting the privacy and rights of clients and consumers is a critical component of our business. Knotice is solely a permission based electronic communications firm, with a focus on communicating with our clients' existing customer base. We are not an on-line advertising firm.
Knotice Web Site
The following discloses our information gathering and dissemination practices for the Knotice.com web site. All information collected, via your permission, will be kept strictly confidential. All information is secure and can be accessed only by select staff at Knotice.
Registration. Registering to contact us requires users to provide information that might include name, address, e-mail address, interests, and similar information. We do not request or store sensitive information from our users. This Site does not collect personally identifiable information about users except when you specifically and knowingly provide it. We use customer contact information from the registration forms to send the user requested information or set up a product demonstration. Knotice is the sole owner of the information collected on the Site. We never sell, share or trade any of our customer information with other companies.
Changes to Your Information. If you would like to change or update your profile please contact us with updated contact information and we will change it, or you may submit a new form from the Contact Sales tab.
Opt-Out. Knotice provides users with the opportunity to opt-out of receiving communications from us at any time. Knotice gives users the following options for removing their information from our database to not receive future communications. You can reply to any email you receive from Knotice and include the word "Unsubscribe.". Unsubscribe requests are processed immediately.
Surveys. We may conduct occasional online surveys via our website or via an e-mail newsletter. These surveys are entirely voluntary and you may easily decline to participate.
Information Disclosure. Under no conditions does Knotice sell, rent, lease, share or trade any information collected on our site to any other company or third party.
Internet Protocol Address or Log Files. Knotice analyzes our site's web logs and we collect an IP address from all visitors to our site. We use IP addresses to help diagnose problems with our server, administer our site, analyze information, track users' movement, gather demographic information to improve the site, and deliver customized, personalized content. IP addresses are not linked to personally identifiable information.
Security. Knotice takes all precautions to protect information. The servers where information is stored are in a secure environment.
Other Web Sites. Our site contains links to other web sites. Please be aware that Knotice is not responsible for the privacy practices of these other sites. We encourage you to read the privacy statements on all such sites as their policies may be different than ours.
Knotice provides online marketing services and products to our clients. Our products and services include email delivery, email tracking, customer database management, web site hosting and web site tracking. In addition, we transfer collected data to our clients. Knotice is contractually bound to keep customer data secure and private, and prevented from sharing data across multiple clients.
Clients use our solutions to deliver email communications, track activity information and collect inbound responses. In providing the stated services, Knotice acts as a service provider for our clients, which means Knotice is a third party that processes data on behalf of our clients. The client, not Knotice, owns data collected via the Knotice solution. Knotice is not responsible for its clients' privacy policies and makes no representations about their accuracy.
Knotice has a strict policy against sending unsolicited commercial email. If problems arise with a client's service, we will work with the client to resolve the problems and prevent them in the future.
Knotice strongly encourages and enforces responsible electronic marketing practices amongst our clients. Knotice endorses the use of MD5 encryption for all suppression lists. We require all clients to be in compliance with the CAN-SPAM Act at all times. Knotice also acts as an advisor for our clients regarding compliance with other applicable consumer protection laws. Knotice is not required to review or approve client content or behavior prior to its distribution in the marketplace. Knotice does, however, reserve the right to suspend or cancel service to clients who violate the terms of their customer agreement with Knotice, consumer protection laws (e.g.CAN-SPAM Act), abuse consumer trust, or amass an inordinate number of complaints.
